thanks for the reviews of some of the language courses out there. this will certainly help people like me to decide which language course to use. it gave me a great deal of information on which language program i can use. i noticed that living language ultimate from random house is not in your reviews of language courses. i was hoping if anybody could give me their useful opinion regarding this language course as well. my cousin just gave me one in french and mandarin and i was hoping if this language course is any good before i start using it. thanks for anybody who would answer me.

Of course we all know that the “best” way to learn another language is total immersion, or with a tutor, but some of us don’t have access, or the financial means to do that right off the bat, so courses such as these are completely necessary. It’s a given that no one course is going to get you to complete fluency (you’re going to have to talk to someone eventually). It’s also good to compare different courses. I’ve had problems understanding certain pronunciations in some courses, that I found were clearer in yet another course, so that the two complemented each other. Basically, if the course is sound in it’s fundamentals it really depends on how much work you are willing to put into it.

I have used the earworms method and found it quick and very easy to use – I would like to see a review here!
